						Team Description* |

The Intelligent Vehicle Systems (IVS) team is a
collaboration among a wide array of technical experts in
vehicle platforms, navigation, path planning, sensors,
perception, and intelligent autonomous control for
ground vehicles.  The team is composed of employees from
Delphi, Ford and Honeywell, members of the 2005 DGC IVST
team which fielded the autonomous Ford F-250 dubbed the
“Desert Tortoise”.  Representing three major American
industrial sectors – electronics, automotive and
aerospace, and having a common goal of creating safe and
robust intelligent vehicle systems for production-intent
commercial and military applications, IVS is ideally
poised to contribute to the 2007 DARPA Urban Challenge. |
